The Super Gag Rule, misleadingly named the “Taxpayer Protection Act” (H.F. 436 / S.F. 431) by anti-choice lawmakers, would ban state funding to any organization that has the audacity to talk to women about all their unintended pregnancy options, including abortion.

This radical measure forces health care professionals to choose between providing women complete information about the full range of family planning options and receiving the funding that enables them to provide such services.  The Super Gag Rule, like the Bush administration’s Global Gag Rule, attacks the freedom of speech of health care providers and women’s access to vital family planning services. Please urge your Senator to oppose this dangerous bill!
