This should only take about 15 minutes out of your day--imagine the impact if thousands of pro-choice Americans around the country begin appearing at their pharmacies all in one day. Amazing. Here's how to participate (and you just might want to print this page and keep it with you!):

1. Print our combination pledge card and sign to take with you to your pharmacy. You can choose to print a PDF or JPG version. The top half of the page is the pharmacy pledge card, and the bottom half is the sign.

2. Stop by your local pharmacy at lunch or in the evening -- anytime is fine. Use this script -- or your own words -- when you are at the pharmacy:

"Hello, my name is________. Do you know that today is the 40th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision that legalized birth control for married couples? In honor of this important decision, I'm participating in a national event that thanks pharmacists who support women's access to birth control. It's especially important right now since as many as 20 states allow pharmacies to refuse to fill women’s prescriptions for birth control, including the morning-after pill. Today, I would like to ask you to join  pharmacies all over the country to do two things: First, sign this pledge that states that you support the decisions made by women and their doctors and will fill all birth control prescriptions. Then, post the sign on the bottom part of the pledge in a public place for your customers to see.

Thank you so much. I appreciate the work you do and that you are standing up for women today.

3. Sign the pledge on the line marked "customer" and ask the pharmacist to sign the other line. Then, tear off the bottom half of the pledge -- the sign part -- and ask the pharmacist to post the sign. Take the pledge card with you and mail it NARAL Pro-Choice America at the address on the card. If the pharmacist asks to keep it and send later, that's okay, too.
