Is the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ready to end its three-year delay on making the “morning-after” pill available without a prescription?

Just this week the FDA has sent mixed messages about the future of improved access to the morning-after pill. On Monday, July 31, the FDA announced that it will reconsider whether to allow the morning-after pill to be sold without a prescription.  However, the following day the FDA’s acting commissioner refused to say when the agency would make a decision.

Now we need you to take the next step and help make sure that President Bush’s FDA is doing more than just political posturing.   Take action to tell the FDA to stand by the science, stand up to anti-choice politics, and make a decision on Plan B®.
