The short explanation of this alert was:

Last week, the governor announced his opposition to the Campaign for Teen Safety.  His support for Prop 73 demonstrates a stunning lack of understanding of how public policy impacts real California's families. 

Use the space below to tell the Governor about the impact of these laws by sharing a personal story or using one of these talking points

  • If for whatever reason my daughter couldn't come to me, I want her to be safe. That is why I'm voting No on 73.
  • While I don't know if I would tell my parents, I have a friend who could never go to her parents.  Prop 73 would force her to go somewhere where they wouldn't tell her parents and I don't think that would be a safe place.  For all my friends who can't go to their parents, I'm voting No on Prop 73.
